Beyond the Image Gallery is a unique exhibition space in the heart of Suffolk. Established in 2005, the gallery is a not-for-profit organisation run by a group of volunteer lens-based artists, who exhibit their own work through quarterly themed exhibitions.

The gallery space allows the group to give something to the community in the form of three guest exhibition spaces suitable for showing artwork of all types.

We do not limit ourselves to photography, we exhibit work from guest artists working in any media.

Our famous Flint Wall, a White Wall, and Small Wall and new 3D A frame are now available to hire together or separately, at very reasonable costs, click here for more info.

Photographers who have exhibited with us include Lee Acaster, overall winner of the British Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2014, and Gillian Allard, winner of the Sky Arts Photographer of the Year 2017, Photographers with visual impairments in association with EffstopEyes, and many more.

Artists who exhibit with us pay no commission on sold work.
