A journey into the blue.

Welcome to the ethereal world of Elinor Jayne, a visual artist who brings a touch of magic to the traditional art of cyanotypes. Through this 19th-century photographic process, she transforms everyday scenes and natural elements into stunning, monochromatic images. Each piece is a unique, handcrafted journey into a deep, vivid blue, where light and shadows dance to reveal intricate details and a dreamlike quality.

Explore Elinor's portfolio and discover the beauty of this historical method, reimagined for the modern eye. Her work is a testament to the timeless allure of traditional techniques and the endless possibilities of creative expression.

Peter Barter is the first to admit his life has been anything but conventional. From joining The Navy at 15, to navigating warships, becoming a pilot, and then making the leap to dentistry, you could say his journey has been filled with unexpected twists and turns. He retired in 2005 and became a self-taught artist and finds his inspiration in the serene and ever-changing vistas of the Suffolk countryside. Based in the charming market town of Eye, Peter's work captures the subtle beauty and atmospheric nuances of the region, translating the rolling fields, ancient woodlands, and expansive skies onto canvas. Through his artistry, we are invited to experience the quiet poetry of the East Anglian landscape.
